"This connection gives Americans more options to visit Mexico. Besides, it foments an economic spill in the country by generating savings in transportation, savings that can be used in more experiences in Mexico". He recalled that Mexico has consolidated itself as the Latin American country that receives the most tourists and in 2017; Mexico ranked as the 6thmost visited country in the world.

“We are delighted to have Viva Aerobus expand its service to John F. Kennedy International Airport, adding affordable, convenient, non-stop flights from Mexico City”, said Huntley Lawrence, Director of Aviation at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. “This new route is key to our continued business with the airline and we look forward to ensuring even greater connectivity for the people of Mexico”, he added.
