 Avid readers know we can't get enough of Agatha Christie!  But when we get to the end of her books, that's it of course: there will not be anymore.  We are always on the lookout for living authors as well and this is our first look at Chris Bohjalian.  The Sleepwalker is completely original and tightly written.  Taking place in Vermont, a sudden death upends both a family and a community and as the victim is a sleepwalker, clarity surrounding the tragedy is frightfully lost.  

Leaving behind a husband and two daughters, the late victim and her past are slowly colored in by Bohjalian in a genuinely earthshaking plot.  For those into high style (and if not, what are you doing here??!!!), you will appreciate she's an architect. 

Compelling word choice, enchanting characters and well-researched studies into sleepwalking, this striking novel will leave you paralyzed until you turn the last page.  Whom can you trust?  Who is lying?!?

Torrentially exciting, we read it in fewer than 24 hours.  As Poirot would say, Epatant!
