As the temperatures cool the most happening places heat up to welcome you in the fall and Primola absolutely hits the spot!  A favorite of ours for over a decade, and we believe it should be a favorite of yours as well if not yet, Primola has practiced the gospel of excellence in fine Italian cuisine since 1986.  It goes without saying that the service is impeccable and every member of their staff is among our favorites.  Primola was last featured over the summer this year and their welcome plates of charcuterie, vegetables and brilliant Italian bread creations are adored by everyone the minute they take their seat.
There are seven wonders of the world, but in the book of Whom You Know's seven wonders of the Burrata world you will find the Burrata at Primola.  You are one lucky duck if it is a special the night you visit because joined with asparagus grilled to perfection and ravishing roasted peppers, the creamy magnificence of the Primola Burrata will absolutely melt in your mouth exquisitely.
As attractive on your tastebuds as it is in the picture, and you should know we never edit pictures: you excel like Giuliano and company or we do not publish, is the Bresaola della Valtellina.  Succulent slivers of cured beef with arugula, oil and lemon awaken your appetite as you get started on your Primola journey.  It is expertly sliced and combined with the cheese accent this carnivorous delight is a beacon of excellence.  For your nutrition always order a salad!  This time we opted for the trifecta of rugola, radicchiio e endive which is tremendously fresh.
Manila clams and mussels under antipasti will brighten the day of the seafood lover in you.  Gorgeously arranged like a shining sun, the lightness of the dish will impress even the most discriminating conoisseurs.  Soute di Vongole e Cozze is sure to become one of your most favorite Primola appetizers and the delicacy will remain in your culinary memory.  It truly is light aromatic broth, aptly referred to on the menu.  It's heightened flavor without being overwhelming.

If Peachy Deegan was stranded on a desert island with ten or fewer items to eat, one of them would be for sure Black and White Taglierini.  We dream about the shrimp in it which speaks to us again and again and this dish earns high marks for consistency.  Fresh tomato and seppia add a level of complexity without going over the top.  An extraordinary balance and taste level makes this a timeless winner.
