#DAYOFRECKONING THE FILM FROM ESX ENTERTAINMENT DEBUTS ON DIGITAL ON APRIL 29 The Film Stars Billy Zane, Zach Roerig, Cara Jade Myers, with Scott Adkins and Trace Adkins

Day of Reckoning, the new western action thriller film from Ali Afshar’s ESX Entertainment (American Wrestler: The Wizard, A Hollywood Christmas, Bennett’s War, The Curse of the Necklace) debuts on Digital on April 29.

From director Shaun Silva, the film stars Billy Zane (Dead Calm, Titanic), Zach Roerig (Television’s The Vampire Diaries), Cara Jade Myers (Killers of the Flower Moon) with Scott Adkins (Undisputed II: Last Man Standing, Undisputed III: Redemption) and country music star Trace Adkins.

Directed by Silva, the film is produced by Ali Afshar, Christina Moore, Daniel Aspromonte, and Don Lepore. The film is written by Travis J. Opgenorth.

The film also features an original song, “That Someday,” by Trace Adkins.

On April 29 the film will be available for Premium Digital Ownership at home and for 48-hour rental via PVOD on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Fandango At Home, and more.

Synopsis:

On the verge of losing his wife and his job as sheriff, put-upon lawman John Dorsey (Zach Roerig) reluctantly teams up with bullish U.S. Marshal Butch Hayden (Billy Zane) to hold outlaw Emily Rusk (Cara Jade Myers) hostage. A battle of wills ensues as Emily turns the posse on themselves, but as her marauding husband (Scott Adkins) and his gang approach, Emily and John realize they will need each other to survive.
