#NHLPeachy @NHL NHL Completes Attendance Four-Peat; Record Regular-Season Attendance for Fourth Consecutive Year
The National Hockey League has set a total attendance record for the fourth consecutive regular season.
Thursday's six-game finale to the 2025-26 campaign pushed total attendance for the full, 1,312-game slate to 23,158,522 -- 97.5% of capacity -- eclipsing the previous high of 23,014,458 set in 2024-25. The per-game average was 17,651.
All-time records also had been set in 2022-23 (22,436,532) and 2023-24 (22,873,142).
STRENGTH ON BOTH SIDES OF THE OLYMPICS
NHL attendance went from strength to strength leading into and following the three-week Olympic break in February. Total attendance was on a record-setting pace at the Olympic break; the numbers since have been even higher.

CANADIENS FILL BELL CENTRE, TOP LEAGUE
The Montreal Canadiens led all clubs, with sellout crowds of 20,962 filling Bell Centre for each of their 41 home dates for a total of 859,442.
ATTENDANCE BY MONTH
NHL games played to 95% capacity or better every month this season and over 98% since Jan. 1.
The January total attendance of 4,269,171 was the most for a single month in NHL history. The record lasted only until March, when it was broken again (4,293,450).
