Black Box 2008 NAPA VALLEY RESERVE CHARDONNAY Highly Recommended by Whom You Know

We next sampled the 2008 NAPA VALLEY RESERVE CHARDONNAY and were equally pleased. Reserve Chardonnay is their flagship white wine. Sourced from the legendary Napa Valley, the inviting aromas unfold with honeysuckle, citrus fruits and hints of caramel. The palate is silky and crisp and features hints of nectarine, pear, citrus and butterscotch. Reserve Chardonnay pairs beautifully with fresh fish and most pasta dishes. And what could be better than excellent Chardonnay on a warm evening? Slightly sweet and buttery, the Black Box Chardonnay delighted Peachy! It's amazingly fresh and crisp for a Chardonnay. And it is the perfect accompaniment to sitting on the patio or on the beach on a warm summer night. Very light, we tasted hints of apple and pear as well. With a light body, it's perfect for warm weather. Quite casual, this is perfect for any wine lover, especially beginners. It pairs well with cheese, cold meats and fresh fruit salad. Years ago while traveling in Europe, Black Box founder Ryan Sproule was amazed at how many Europeans drank premium-quality box wines. They favored freshness, value and convenience over tradition. By forgoing expensive bottles in favor of bag-in-a-box packaging, European vintners were providing their customers with better wines at better prices.
