READ THIS: Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang by Chelsea Handler

If you have a pulse, you will read this book for the sheer entertainment value of it!

CHELSEA CHELSEA

BANG BANG
is the latest by Chelsea Handler, whom we find absolutely hilarious, and we have felt that way since we read "My Horizontal Life," her first book.  If you are a Handler enthusiast, it should come as no surprise to find out in CCBB why she has capped teeth and why she might want to get a baby dolphin.  If you are new to Chelsea, you will be thrilled to add Chunk to your vocabulary.   You will feel like you know Chelsea personally by the end of the book and you will wish that you actually did because certainly she livens up every life she touches.  Good and bad!  But bad is good, isn't it?  Notice our Laugh with Peachy column is still quite tiny: and notice that Chelsea has made it in.

Tales of what can happen on the speakerphone bring Peachy back to days gone by of what she did in both college and witnessed in the business world: surely we all have stories of practical jokes on people that were less than easy to deal with, but none quite like Chelsea's.  If your practical jokes are not what they should be, this is almost an instruction manual.  The pictures that accompany various escapades add real value to the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang experience.   We refuse to tell you about the actual stories because we are enticing you to read the book.  Note: only read this book after you have visited the loo.

We highly recommend for our adult readers

BANG BANG,
and our only criticism of you Chelsea is we'd like to know why you're wasting your time with the wrong vodka; you ARE A STAR...so isn't this what you should be drinking?  Are you there, Chelsea?

She’s rude, crude and has more attitude than any other late-night host. Now, Chelsea Handler, the loud-mouthed voice of Chelsea Lately, comedic standout and New York Times bestselling author, pens her third explosive book, CHELSEA CHELSEA BANG BANG (Grand Central Publishing Hardcover; $25.99; March 9, 2010), and believe it, she’s not holding back for anyone.

Get ready for pure hilarity as Chelsea Handler lets loose with personal essays of mass appeal. In this no-holds-barred account of life on the ridiculous side, Chelsea mines her family, her sex life, her career, and her distinctively outrageous worldview.

Whether she's young Chelsea discovering "The Feeling" during a third-grade sleepover or getting shafted by clueless parents over Cabbage Patch dolls, Chelsea sheds light on what’s truly important to an eight-year-old girl…or grown-up. Who knew that Chelsea at the mercy of her remote control, Lean Pockets, and the Sex and the City movie, could be so wildly interesting? Oh, and then there’s the essay on managing to convince her boyfriend that there are Swiss Army knives in the soles of her $16,000 shoes. Through it all, Chelsea never lets anyone off the hook, especially herself, as she delivers page after page of irreverent humor, biting wit, and deliciously off-kilter entertainment.

Chelsea Handler, the youngest of six children, was born in Livingston, New Jersey, to a Jewish father and a Mormon mother. She is the star and host of E!'s Chelsea Lately.
