Tasty Tidbits: Mañana, the latest from the Serafina Restaurant Group

Peachy Deegan has frequented establishments of the Serafina Restaurant Group for years, and is so pleased to learn more about the latest jewel in their crown: Mañana.

Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato opened Mañana in November 2008 because the Upper East Side was in dire need of a good Mexican restaurant! Whom You Know loves this part of town!
True to their reputation of authenticity, the Executive Chef is Omar Luna from Mexico City.

Cusine: Traditional Mexican with a contemporary twist

Signature dishes: Fajitas de Filete / Fajitas de Pollo (Fajitas with Filet Mingon or Chicken); Fresh Guacamole; Red Snapper Stew; Zucchini Blossom and Portobello Mushroom Quesadillas

Signature Drinks: Manana is perfect for tequila lovers! Over 60 tequilas, over 25 Margarita varieties. La Passion Margarita and Sangria are very popular.

Interior: Mañana’s interior features a palate of colors, Aztec graffiti art, beautifully carved wood, authentic fabrics and Mexican decorations. The setting is
casual with exposed brick walls, pink plaster ceiling and walls, antique tin mirrors and dark woods

Ambiance: upbeat, energetic, lively music, DJ on select nights. Patrons include models, businessmen and neighborhood locals.

Quotes from their fabulous owners:
“I love the casual vibe of Mañana. I love the music, the drinks and the fun, upbeat culture the restaurant envelops,” says owner Fabio Granato.

“Mañana makes me very happy,” says owner Vittorio Assaf. “There is an intimate setting, fabulous Guacamole, the best Margaritas and delicious, home
style Mexican food. Our logo defines the concept of Manana: two fun dancing Pre-Hispanic monkeys watching over us! Live for today. Let others worry
about Mañana!"
