Grandma Deegan's Blueberry Pie

For 8 or 9 inch pie shell- if you go to 9 inch, increase the blueberries.
We use 2 plastic containers of blueberries!

Cook a ready-made pie shell for 8 to 10 minutes, but watch it while it turns light brown - follow the recipe on the box for the temperature.

Other than the pie shell, you need:

4 Cups Fresh Blueberries

1 Cup Sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water

Put 2 cups of blueberries into a ready made pie shell that has been baked and cooled.

Put the other 2 cups into a pot on the stove, and add the above ingredients (1 Cup Sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup water) to it, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until thick.

Pour this over the 2 cups in the pie shell and put that in the refrigerator for an hour. After the hour has passed, spread whipped cream all over the top of the pie which is your topping.

We hope you love it!
