McCafe at Fashion Week

McCafé returned to the tents in Bryant Park for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as the official coffee provider. You know the coffee pumped into Peachy Deegan improved these posts! Nestled in the heart of the lobby, fashionistas, trendsetters and media were treated to delicious Hot and Iced Mochas, Hot and Iced Lattes, Cappuccinos, Hot Chocolate and Premium Brewed Coffee in the McCafé Lounge. Peachy preferred the Iced Latte.

They also once again partnered with menswear design duo Duckie Brown as a sponsor of their Spring 2010 collection unveiled in the tents on Opening Day. As you may know, Steven Cox spent three years behind a counter at a McDonald’s restaurant in London.

This year, in addition to providing coffee and McDonald’s snacks backstage, they took their partnership to an entirely new level. In partnership with McCafé, Duckie Brown designed a limited edition glove collection to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and celebrate the 35th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House. Duckie Brown created the gloves as an extension of McDonald’s “Give a Hand” fundraising program in restaurants each November, which raises millions of dollars each year for RMHC. They gloves are available exclusively through Twitter, by contacting Jessie at @McCafeYourDay. All proceeds from the glove sales will benefit RMHC.

Enjoy the rest of fashion week-it is a long wait until February!
