October 15 Connecticut Cottages and Gardens

Of course we'll take Manhattan, but we love Connecticut too.

From our friends at Connecticut Cottages and Gardens:

Celebrate New Canaan!

Connecticut Cottages & Gardens presents

to a day long event to celebrate New Canaan businesses!

October 15, 2009, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m,
throughout the streets of downtown New Canaan.
Our editorial staff recently visited participating shops, businesses, and restaurants and selected favorite must-have "treasures." Each selection will be tagged in store as a Connecticut Cottages & Gardens "Editor's Treasure" and is featured in a special resource guide in the October 2009 issue to showcase all that New Canaan has to offer. The guide will also contain incentives for shopaholics. Serious shoppers who visit numerous stores and events that day can accumulate gold coins and will be eligible to enter the Treasure Chest contest, featuring high-end lifestyle products and services that are featured in New Canaan.
A portion of the proceeds from this day-long shopping extravaganza will go to The Human Services Council of Fairfield County and the Children's Connection of New Canaan.
