WEDDING SALON REVEALS THAT GLAM IS BACK WITH CRYSTALS, ORCHIDS AND MIRRORED EXTRAVAGANZAS, SILVER AND WHITE TABLE DÉCOR Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, Sylvia Weinstock, David Tutera and More Showcased the Ultimate Trends for 2010 at The Wedding Salon

From the fabulous Grazia:

The recession may still be looming, but that does not mean skimping on a wedding. Over 2,000 brides proved this point and stormed The Wedding Salon on a chilly November night to discover the latest trends for 2010.

“Brides are always looking to stay ahead of the trends and discover the ultimate ways to add a personal touch to their weddings.  We were thrilled to have the biggest names in the industry at The Wedding Salon,” says Wedding Salon Founder and renowned Event Planner Tatiana Byron

As diamonds are a girl’s best friend (and ALL jewelry according to Peachy Deegan; See Rock Your Body with 53 of our favorites so far:http://www.whomyouknow.com/search/label/Rock%20Your%20Body) , Flowers by Topaz and Celebrate Flowers showcased crystals as a must-have wedding trend. Making dreams come true with an over-the-top orchid table display topped with calla lilies, Flowers by Topaz draped crystals from their show-stopping 6-foot centerpiece. Designer Mark Masone incorporated glittery branches and thousands of white flowers allowing the table to sparkle with a dream-like effect.  Celebrate Flowers opted for all-out glam with a draping chandelier centerpiece created entirely of mirrors and crystals.

Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings showcased fairytale glamour with color schemes of white and silver accented with shimmer. Showcasing another key trend for 2010, monochromatic floral design, Disney worked with David Tutera to create an over-the-top orchid centerpiece.

Another trend seen at The Wedding Salon was embellished cupcakes. Crumbs Weddings chose The Wedding Salon to launch their Wedding Division complete with elevated cupcake towers and edible table designs. Petite Café upped the cupcake glam with accents that matched the crystal table décor.

The ultimate glam look for every wedding should be the bride. David Tutera showcased his “Red Carpet Inspired” gowns sold exclusively in New York at Bridal Reflections.  Inspired by his favorite celebrities at their most glamorous red carpet moments, Tutera’s gowns allow every bride to embrace their inner princess. Tutera incorporated a huge trend for 2010 – a gown for the ceremony that converts into a different gown for the reception. His gowns can be modified from long to short and allow brides to have two uniquely glamorous looks.

The Wedding Salon will be coming to Los Angeles on March 1, 2010
and to New York on March 29, 2010.
