Jean Shop announces its Jean Shop for Converse Classic Ones Star 74 collaboration. Jean Shop, invited to add its workmanship to the classic Converse style, will debut three one-of-a-kind, roughed-up versions of the iconic hairy suede shoe Dec 9th, just in time for the holidays.

The One Star shoe first debuted in 1974 and quickly became an all-time favorite sneaker with its laidback look and clean silhouette. Embraced by the West Coast surf and skate scene of the 70s and 80s, and later adopted by the 90s grunge scene, the One Star shoe has become a footwear icon. Jean Shop’s legendary in-house custom finishing makes the original sneaker all the more special.

The Jean Shop for Converse Classic Ones Star 74 shoes are available in a low-top, black, yellow and blue versions. The shoe will launch on Dec 9th at the Jean Shop locations on 435 W. 14^th Street and 424 W Broadway in New York City. The sneakers retail for $190 and are available in sizes 5-12.

There will be a launch party on Dec 10th in the West Broadway store at 7pm.
