DAYLIGHT: GOTHAM GETS GREEN 2010

You know we talk about green quite a lot, but usually it in reference to being Irish!  (Or better yet we wish it were in reference to the improving dollar/economy, which unfortunately is not the case; Wall Street is the lifeblood of this city.)  In any event, Peachy Deegan just LOVES to wear the green.

Today, Gotham went Green on the roof of the Empire Hotel and we learned about a lot of great new innovations that we can't WAIT to tell you about.  We have an especially nice idea for you Spa owners of Manhattan, or fans of pedicures.  Of course, one of them is the Cloudveil gloves, which we already told you about in Brave the Cold. We will be having more for you on this great brand.  The people there must know Peachy went to Boston College because she is sporting the Run Don't Walk 1/2 Zip in Rhododendron....you all need one it is perfect for layering in Manhattan.

Among the fabulous guests we met were:
Sarah Hubbard
Allon Cohne (got points for having a wife who is a BC grad)
Mike Baker
Ian Anderson
Chris Dickey
Mark Riedy
Patrick Burek
Amanda Heins

Featured companies included The North Face and Polartec clothing; Klean KanteenRickshaw Bagworks and SOLElifestyle products; and Regen Living technology.  Representatives from Protect Our WintersGrand Targhee Resort and Teton Gravity Research, with their latest film “Generations” on Global Climate Change, also were present.

Events on the roof of the Empire are always quite nice!  The last time we were enjoying Star Vodka there during their event with Liberty Jet with Movers and Shakers Pamela Friedman, Charles Ferri and upcoming Mover and Shaker Christian Deputy.

Stay tuned for more coverage of the great green products!  Many traveled from Jackson, Wyoming....quite a trip to the Upper West side.
