Please Consider Helping as a Bone Marrow Donor to help the daughter of Peachy Deegan's friend from Boston College, Danya Abrams

In Honor of "Taty" Abrams

Tatyana "Taty" Abrams was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in September of 2008 at Boston's Childrens Hospital. After being diagnosed with AML, Taty spent the following 8 months undergoing treatment while living at Children's Hospital. If there is ever a child who possess the spirit and toughness to endure the perils that this disease imposes, it is Taty. Finally, this past May we received wonderful news! Taty was officially in remission and could go home to be with her family and resume the normal activities of a vibrant 11 year old. Unfortunately, her victory over the disease was short lived and on December 3rd we were told the cancer returned and Taty would need to re-start chemo immediately ! This time the stakes are much higher as Taty's only real chance for survival is a Bone Marrow Transplant. So far, a match has not been found so we are in a race against time to find a suitable donor. Taty is relying on you and others like you to take the time to join the registry. A gift that could not only save Taty's life but many other children and adults that struggle with this life-threatening disease. You have the power to heal, the power to save a life. TAKE THE FIRST STEP. JOIN THE REGISTRY.
