100WHF London Gala 2010 Thursday, September 30, 2010 Middle Temple Hall, London Black Tie

From 100 Women in Hedge Funds, one of our most favorite organizations:

Across three global locations, 100 Women in Hedge Funds has raised in excess of $17 million for charitable causes in the fields of mentoring, women and children’s health, and education. Since its first endeavour in 2007, 100 Women in Hedge Funds London has raised nearly £1.3 million for UK charities.

From January 2010, Prince William became Patron of 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Philanthropic Initiatives for a three-year partnership. 100 Women in Hedge Funds will focus its UK philanthropic endeavours consecutively, for one year each, on three of Prince William’s Patronages: Centrepoint in 2010; the Child Bereavement Charity in 2011; and Skill Force in 2012.

In 2010, we are focusing our global philanthropic efforts on mentoring. With your support and contributions, 100 Women in Hedge Funds London will raise funds this year on behalf of Centrepoint. Centrepoint has been housing and supporting homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25 since 1969 and have helped over 70,000 young people to escape homelessness and build new lives. Each night they provide a home for over 800 young people and over the course of a year over 1,500 young people will be helped and supported by their work. Specifically, funds raised in 2010 will be used to fund a new mentoring programme aimed at enhancing the efforts already made by Centrepoint to impact the lives of young people by developing their employability skills, building their sense of self worth and self esteem, and setting goals for the future. With your help, Centrepoint will be able to establish and embed this mentoring and befriending programme within their overall offering for young people, with funding for its first three years.

100WHF’s philanthropic events in London have attracted the leading lights of the hedge fund industry and the greater financial community since 2007. Together with Centrepoint and our Patron Prince William, 100 Women in Hedge Funds invite you to join us for the 2010 Gala on September 30, 2010 and for our future Gala events in 2011 (for the Child Bereavement Charity) and 2012 (for Skill Force). This year’s Gala will be held at Middle Temple, one of the four ancient Inns of Court and home of the first performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in 1602. Your support and contributions are key to the success of the Gala and will make it a truly memorable night; and in 2010, we can change the lives of young people across London and North West England.

You can support us in a number of ways, either this year or over the three-year Patronage period by:
-          Becoming a Patronage Sponsor (three years of support)
-          Becoming a Platinum Sponsor (one year of support)
-          Becoming a Gold Sponsor (one year of support)
-          Becoming a Silver Sponsor (one year of support)
