Vasculitis diseases, particularly the one Ilya Peckerman was afflicted with, are rare “orphan” diseases that need lots of attention and funding. There is no cure, no set idea as to why it starts, and no age/race/gender preferences.
**Why $36 for tickets? It’s double “chai” (18), and means “living” in Hebrew. Our father wore a “chai” charm around his neck, and when he lived he really LIVED. So, to life and let’s LIVE and honor Ilya Peckerman and help others afflicted with Vasculitis diseases live longer, healthier lives.
