Advantageous Auctions New York: The Polaroid Collection at Sotheby's Highly Recommended By Whom You Know. OVER 1,000 PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE POLAROID COLLECTION TAKE OVER SOTHEBY’S YORK AVENUE BUILDING

Peachy Deegan just LOVES Sotheby's.  Although any auction would be tough to beat their fabulous auction of the Audrey Hepburn Dresses they did, we must say that this Polariod exhibit is absolutely phenomenal.  We especially appreciated the Ansel Adams photography, and in particular, loved:

Lot 89 and 261 Big Sur Coast
Lot 277 Point Sur
Lot 99 Northern California Coast
Lot 280 Cedar Trees in Snow, Winter, Yosemite National Park

The best in the whole exhibition to us was Lot 473, Stream and Ocean, Marin County California by Ansel Adams.

We also thought Lot 384's Florida Swamp by Brett Weston and Lot 367's Sunset Over Coast Range California by William Garnett were outstanding.

Over 1,000 Photographs from the Polaroid Collection. The exhibition which is taking over Sotheby’s York Avenue building and provides a unique insight into the influence of Polaroid’s revolutionary technology.
