June 4 - The Secret Garden: Join the New Canaan Nature Center for the 21st annual Secret Garden Tour presenting the grounds and gardens of six beautiful properties.  Shop for your summer gardening supplies, gifts and outdoor entertaining accessories at the New Canaan Nature Center's new Nature Shop. Tour and lunch tickets, $75, advance tour tickets, $50 and day-of tour tickets, $60.

June 5 & June 13 - Hidden Garden Tour: Explore some of the most beautifully landscaped gardens in the town of Westport at the Historical Society's Annual Hidden Garden Tour. The day includes a garden marketplace at the Veterans Green that offers garden-inspired gifts. Through June 13 - Posies and Poems:  The New York Botanical Garden presents poetry in the garden in their new exhibit, "Emily Dickinson's Garden: The Poetry of Flowers." The three-part exhibit includes a replica of Dickinson's garden, a Poetry Walk of three-dozen poems nestled among plantings and a marathon reading of all her 1789 poems. June 11-June 27 - A Celebration of Gardens: Join the Florence Griswold Museum for GardenFest, a two-week celebration of the site's historic gardens, featuring special events, garden tours, demonstrations and family activities. June 13 - Antiques & Garden Elements: Join the Darien Historical Society for the third annual Antiques & Garden Elements show and sale. This innovative outdoor event will feature more than 40 quality dealers from the northeast who specialize in unique antique furnishings for the home and garden. June 25-June 27 - Litchfield County Antique Show:  Don't miss the Litchfield County Antiques Show, featuring over 40 dealers. Fairfield County's finest landscape architects, nurseries and garden antiques dealers will create more than a dozen vignettes using tranquil garden spaces on the grounds of the historic Rose Cottage in the heart of Black Rock. 

Vines and Vignettes is excited to share an exclusive preview of some of the enchanting spaces you will visit on your garden tour of the historic Rose Cottage in Black Rock on June 5.
