Journals for me have become more of a to do list organizer then writing my thoughts and dreams in. Instead of a pad or loose piece of paper, I have found I am more organized when I write it in a book. Plus, it is so much nicer to carry around and enjoy. It also looks nice on my kitchen counter where we turn it to quite often to make lists. The wonderful black labs and Adirondack chairs is a the perfect journal/book cover especially for those of us in New England. The hard cover is quality and the paper is easy to write on. My husband knows to go to it for his “honey do list”.

I love the whimsical, soothing cover painting on the cover of this journal! It is smartly designed, as the pocket on the back inside cover is very handy. At a price of $10.99, it's quite reasonable for the high quality. The elastic band that marks your place is good to have, and of course I just love animals so this design made me smile. The cover color scheme is very calming-and the dogs are inspirational as they contemplate their great vista! The lines on the pages are a good guide-but not too intrusive, and the weight and the size of the journal are good.
