Kusmi Spearmint Tea Recommended by Whom You Know

Kusmi Tea (www.kusmitea.com), originating in Russia, blends the finest natural ingredients from around the world, making each tea distinct and exuding sophistication. Over the past 140 years, Kusmi Tea has perfected the art of blending unique teas distinguished by their exceptional flavor, aroma, and quality. Invigorating to all senses, each aspect is glorified by master blenders at Kusmi, ensuring the smallest detail is never over looked.
Kusmi combines tea leaves from China, India and Ceylon into the perfect array of flavors. The merge of different cultures and traditions compels every tea-lover to appreciate the nuances that make each blend unique.

The original master blender of this legendary tea, Pavel Kousmichoff, was the son of a Russian peasant family. He earned his way into the tea business as a delivery man for a small tea boutique. His obvious knack for herbal combinations caught the attention of the store owner, who then taught him the art of tea combinations.

By 1917, the Kousmichoff family had opened a total of 51 stores in Russia and Europe. The headquarters moved to France, but after the upset of World War II, the brand was in dire need to be strengthened and renewed.

From Kousmichoff Tea’s Russian roots to its French elegance, Mr. Orebi saw the promising potential in the brand and bought it in 2004. Mr. Orebi promptly went to work on the brand, re-naming it Kusmi Tea, an abbreviation of Kousmichoff, an appealing name to consumers, while respecting the family and all of their efforts. Since then, Kusmi Tea has successfully continued to carry on the important tradition of artisan tea blending while expanding the company’s range of products to meet global market trends.

The luxurious brand specializes in teas such as: Russian, Green, Black, Decaf & Red, Herbal, and Wellness. These assortments are recognized for their perfect balance of savory and herbal essence to the smell and taste. All tea leaves are gently hand-picked then cultivated to later delicately blend into a Kusmi masterpiece.

The closely guarded century-old recipes for Kusmi’s Russian Blends are the foundation of their on-going success. The Peachy's Pantry Panel put the Spearmint Tea to the test, and the panel stated:

Being a near-daily tea drinker, it's with much excitement that I greeted the recent arrival of the first Kusmi Tea store on American soil. In New York City specifically.  This is a brand with a long history, founded in 1867 in St. Petersburg, Russia and brought over to Paris in 1917, where for the past combined 140 years, they've been perfecting the art of blending unique and quality teas.  The assortment of tea blends that they carry is quite large and varied.  Simply put, no matter what your taste and preferences, you'll find a blend that you can call your own.  Kusmi's Spearmint Green Tea is definitely a blend to stock up on to enjoy this summer and well beyond.  The spearmint is cool, crisp and refreshing.  Combined with the lightness of Green China tea, it's exactly what this especially hot summer calls for, regardless whether it's enjoyed hot or cold, it'll definitely put you in a cooler and more mellow mood.  This will be a tea that I will happily sip all throughout the summer.

Last night after dinner I had a cup of Kusmi Spearmint Green tea, and found it to be the perfect compliment to my light summer dinner on a cool summer night.  And what a treat it was!  I knew this tea was something different as soon as I opened the tin.  I was met with sweet aroma of spearmint and green tea.  The scent was such pleasant surprise, I called my wife in to the room to experience it for herself.  She responded with a smile and, "Ooh, I like that!"  Measuring out 2 teaspoons of Kusmi green tea into my tea press, I waited patiently for the water to boil and then waited (not so patiently!) cool just a bit to the suggested 167 degrees and then poured it into the tea press. After letting it steep for three minutes, I poured my self a smooth cup of tea.  I could actually taste the aroma of the tea before the tea itself ever hit my pallet. It was a fresh taste like a stick or spearmint gum with a hint of green tea - the perfect combination of flavors melding together.  I am a big green tea fan, iced or hot, and this is probably the best green tea I have had to date.  My wife has suggested making a batch of iced tea, so I'm looking forward to drinking it poolside this weekend!

I have been a green tea drinker for more years than I want to remember.  The health benefits of green tea have long been touted, especially as an important antioxidant. Another substance in green tea has been proven to be a mood booster while lowering blood pressure and increasing relaxation.  I have been looking for a new tea to enjoy and found exactly what I was looking for in Kusmi Tea of Paris' Spearmint Green Tea.  The green tin caught my eye and when opened, I was pleasantly greeted by the aroma of fresh spearmint.  I have a dish filled with spearmint potpourri in one of my guest rooms and just love that fresh smell when I enter that room.  Now I can enjoy the aroma and wonderful taste of spearmint in the Kusmi Spearmint Green Tea.  Kusmi's master blenders have found a perfect blend of green tea and spearmint to making this fine product.  Not too sweet, not too bold, not too weak, just what I was looking for in a new tea.  Kusmi Tea of Paris makes many different tea blends and if you go to their website atwww.kusmitea.com I am sure you will fins at least one that will suit your taste buds.

I am an avid tea drinker and I simply love with Kusmi's Spearmint tea. YUM! The tea is packaged in a cute tin that is great for storing in your kitchen. It also helps keep your tea fresh. I also love it for gifting! The tea has a rich, sweet, mint scent which tastes great. When it brews up it becomes a green-gold cup of tea. I love having this tea in the morning. I drink green tea every morning but I really enjoy it now because of the kick of mint. It really perks me up in the mornings.
