Mover and Shaker Kym Hampton on her event: Inspiring Women Night with the NY Liberty!

Kym had a fabulous event recently, and she tells us:

"Inspiring Women Night with the NY Liberty, celebrates organizations owned and/or run by women, that do empowering things in the community for girls and women.

It starts with a pre-game reception that allows everyone the opportunity to mingle and network. After the reception, everyone goes into the arena to watch the NY Liberty game. The honoree's are gathered at some point before half-time of the game, to prepare for the half-time ceremony.

At half-time each honoree is called by name (as she walks onto the court). Information about her and the organization is given as she receives a Liberty jersey with her last name on the back. She pauses at half court to receive the jersey and take a photo with the President and GM (Carol Blazejowski) and Kym Hampton (former Liberty player, now Fan Development Leader). After each honoree has been anounced, a group photo is taken and everyone exits the court."
