Remarkable Real Estate: Consolo & Aquino Arrange Soho Location for Interior Design Brand Tui Lifestyle

Soho leasing and sales specialists Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, and Joseph Aquino, Executive Vice President of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group have coordinated the lease at 136 Greene Street for Miami-based interior designer Tui Pranich, who will be bringing his Tui Lifestyle brand to a multi-level, 7,500-square-foot space in the heart of Soho.

Mr. Pranich, who has been a society go-to for more than 25 years, launched the Tui Lifestyle brand in 2007 to provide posh turnkey home treatments within days. Offering several integrated home design packages, the lifestyle choices start with furnishings, room by room, that may be expanded to include everything from kitchen appliances, Frette bedroom linens, fine china, silverware, flat-screen TVs and custom artwork.

"The moment we started working on the agency last spring, we began targeting fine home furnishings and design companies," said Ms. Consolo. "There is an unmistakable concentration of lifestyle retail in this area and to have Tui Pranich here is like slipping into a comfortable chair."

Added Mr. Aquino, "This store presented such a unique opportunity for the right retailer because of its unusually large size, along with the 35 feet of frontage and superb location. In addition, it had recently undergone a multi-million renovation."

Considered leaders in Soho retail leasing and sales, Ms. Consolo and Mr. Aquino, have introduced dozens of businesses to the area over the years and most recently arranged leases for Realm at 98 Greene Street, RoundAbout at 115 Mercer Street and Florsheim by Duckie Brown at 109 Mercer Street.

The Tui Lifestyle New York flagship will be located on one of Soho's prime blocks, between Houston and Prince Streets, surrounded by such tony neighbors as Moss, Paul Smith, B&B Italia, Hugo Boss, Armani Casa, Louis Vuitton, Jill Stuart, Adriano Goldschmied and Tous. Ms. Consolo and Mr. Aquino represented the landlord for the transaction; the tenant's broker was New York Commercial Real Estate Services.
