Pangea Organic's EGYPTIAN GERANIUM WITH ADZUKI BEAN & CRANBERRY Recommended by Whom You Know!

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
for all skin types

ADZUKI BEAN CRANBERRY
exfoliating antioxidant
clarifying nutrient-rich
cleansing brightening

This dual action scrub polishes the skin’s surface without disrupting its delicate balance. Enzymatic exfoliants work to dissolve expired skin cells while mechanical exfoliants gently free them up to be rinsed away. Raw, ground-up adzuki bean has been used in skin preparations for centuries in Japan. It provides gentle, manual exfoliation while its astringent properties help clarify and tighten pores. Both cranberry seed and geranium oil offer skin-brightening attributes, which assist with reducing hyper-pigmentation (dark spots due to sun exposure and past acne breakouts). The food-based ingredients in this Scrub nourish the skin with antioxidants that scavenge free-radicals and optimize cellular function, resulting in more radiant skin and increased cell turnover. Never harsh or drying, this Scrub may be used on all skin types. It is suitable for daily or weekly enjoyment.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Adzuki Bean (whole, raw bean: ground) - Ground adzuki bean has been used in Japanese skin care regimes for centuries. Geishas treasured it, as their secret for smooth, soft skin, helping them to achieve a flawless complexion. Adzuki is a very gentle, yet effective exfoliant. It deep cleanses without dehydrating or abrading, leaving the skin firm and smooth. Suitable for all skin types, it is gentle enough to use daily.

Cranberry Seed (whole, raw seed: ground) - Ground cranberry seeds possess impressive amounts of antioxidant phenols which are beneficial for all skin types. This high antioxidant content is responsible for cranberry’s anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Cranberry is also said to offer anti-bacterial properties that are beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin types. The cranberry seed is high in potent enzymes, which dissolve dead cells and remove sebum from the skin’s surface. Cranberry is commonly used in skin care to: exfoliate, tone, soften, smooth, brighten dull skin and treat acne conditions.

Organic Rice Bran Extract - Rice bran includes constituents that make it quite unique: it is emollient, antioxidant and rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs). Rice bran has been highly acclaimed for centuries in helping to create the flawless skin attributed to Japanese women. It is a gentle exfoliant and skin softener that also helps prevent wrinkles, restores vitality to damaged skin, absorbs dirt and oil from pores and balances sebum production.

The beautiful women of Whom You Know tried this, and they say:

The Egyptian Geranium with Adzuki Bean & Cranberry is by far the best facial scrub I have ever tried.  And I worked for one of the premiere spas in NYC and tried many a facial scrub in those days.  This scrub far surpasses any I have tried before.  Perhaps it is the fact that I feel good about using this product.  There are no scary, hard to pronounce chemicals listed in the ingredients, it is organic and simply put, just plain good for you!  As stated on the packaging, geranium is cell regenerating, toning and rejuvenating while the cranberry is an antioxidant and nutrient-rich.  What's not to like about that?  Upon using this product for the first time, the thing that was most noticeable to me and that separated this scrub from other scrubs is that it wasn't harsh.  It was obvious upon applying it that it was a scrub, but it didn't feel rough, instead it felt invigorating.  When I rinsed it off, it actually felt creamy and left my skin feeling very smooth and moisturized.  I am in love.  The directions say to use this scrub once daily or weekly.  I will opt for daily, thank you very much!

Because my face is red to begin with, I have a hard time finding a facial scrub that doesn't irritate my skin even more.  I tried the Pangea Facial Scrub made with Egyptian Geranium with Adzuki Bean and Cranberry and loved it.  It didn't irritate my skin.  I noticed a difference after the first use.  The more I used it, the better my skin looked.  The redness has gone down and my skin looks more moisturized.  I had colleagues ask me what I was doing differently.  I couldn't believe the difference this was making.  I have a few friends whose faces are prone to redness like mine and I plan to buy them some of this facial scrub as a gift.  It will have to be a scrub I keep on hand.

Overall , this is an okay scrub. I felt that I needed to double up on the amount of scrub I normally use to thoroughly exfoliate my dry winter skin. It had a moisturizing effect which was nice, but lacked the amount of granules most hearty scrubs have. On the contrary, it's a gentle scrub. Good for those with sensitive skin. I'm not particular on the scent, then again it is organic, and most organic products either smell terribly or have a strong scent. This one has a strong scent and I'm guessing it's the lavender alcohol that is used (2nd ingredient listed). I checked out Pangea's website and it states that lavender alcohol doubles up as a skin toner/astringent..so bonus points for this scrub on that note. I love the fact that it also has a ton of natural oils and shea butter that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth to the point where you almost don't need to moisturize your skin after-wards.  I suggest adding more granules and making the consistency of the scrub thicker, less watery.

If there's anything that's worse for the skin that living in NYC (where the pollution and the hectic pace do their best to wreak havoc), it's living in NYC in the winter!  Even the best cared-for skin starts to look dull and tired at this time of year.  I'm happy to report, though, that Pangea Organic's Egyptian Geranium With Adzuki Bean & Cranberry Scrub is the perfect antidote!  In this season, especially, it's important to exfoliate and get rid of the dull, expired skin cells and let the new, healthy cells glow!  One of the main difficulties with this, though, is that many exfoliators and scrubs tend to be harsh and leave skin feeling irritated and dry.  Not so with Pangea's scrub!  One of the main reasons for this is the use of cranberry seed.  Ground cranberry seeds contain a very high level of antioxidants, which possess anti-aging and anti-inflammatory qualities.  They also have anti-bacterial properties, which help combat oily skin and acne, and they have high levels of powerful enzymes, which help dissolve sebum and unclog pores.  And the ground adzuki beans offer manual exfoliation and possess astringent properties to help clarify and tighten pores!  Finally, the geranium oil and the ground cranberry seeds both have skin-brightening properties.  So, with this powerhouse trio of natural ingredients, the scrub combats tired, dull skin without being harsh or dehydrating.  It's recommended for use once or twice a week, but believe me, once you try it, you'll have a hard time not using it daily!  The scent is terrific, and it leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and perfectly refreshed.  Thank you, Pangea, for helping me kiss my "winter skin" goodbye!

Pangea Geranium Scrub leaves my face polished. Not to mention smooth. Also, it smells amazing! It is organic - which is awesome because I'm always on the hunt for organic products. I honestly am in love with this product. I mixed this scrub into my hands and scrubbed away. I have oily skin and have a bit of acne. Amen to this product. I have noticed the oil reduction is at a minimum. I highly recommend this product!
