Terrific Takeout: Cafe Greco!!

Avocado with mixed greens and citrus vinaigrette kicked off our Cafe Greco experience. Dressed perfectly, this is what you'd want to see on a runway if you were eating it. Every ingredient was up to snuff in terms of freshness and the avocado was our favorite part of it. Cafe Greco is a Mediterranean Mecca that is truly Terrific Takeout.

Portugeuse Octopus grilled with greek seasoning is uniquely divine and the best and only octopus we've seen in our reviews, so great idea Gus to surprise us with it! Joined by fresh lemons, the seafood will melt in your mouth with spectacular spices with the perfect amount of zing. If you aren't sure if Octopus is your thing, think again because you will fall in love with this amazing appetizer. We love their attention to detail and in the takeout bag, the bread and butter assortment of 2 breads, breadsticks and butter pats too was a nice touch.

Sauteed seafood pasta with linguini marinara will melt in your mouth and we ordered it mildly spicy. You can also order it not spicy or very spicy, and after trying it we'd say the mildly spicy should be just perfect for most people. The calamari, clams, shrimp and mussels join together in superior harmony of marinara and fresh pasta.

The dessert was not to be outdone by the rest of the meal...

Clearly a happy ending!

The raspberry tart, with cream and raspberry on side was absolutely exquisite. On all four courses, this is the best performance we've featured in Terrific Takeout. Cafe Greco's attention to detail and their commitment to quality cuisine reinforce the fact that they've been open for over twenty years, and this is a family business that puts merit in Mediterranean. Now we need to get them to work on their website...
