WHOM YOU KNOW NEW YORK NOTES EXCLUSIVE: Movers and Shakers Will & Anthony Nunziata to Tour United States with New Concert, return to Feinstein’s in 2011


Will & Anthony Nunziata launch a national tour of a brand new concert on February 1, 2011 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Will & Anthony Nunziata have created a brand new concert act that celebrates the music of Broadway & The Great American Songbook that also explores the power of family, love, and the quest for one’s individual purpose, passion, and, ultimately, happiness in life.  In collaboration with Award-winning director Eric Michael Gillett and musical director/arranger Tedd Firth, this concert includes fresh duet arrangements of both classic and contemporary songs including Something’s Coming, I Believe in You, Everybody Says Don’t, Raise the Roof, The Prayer and a musical suite of Being Alive and Who Can I Turn To? among others. The composers celebrated in this concert include Stephen Sondheim, Frank Loesser, Stephen Schwartz, Marvin Hamlisch, Cy Coleman, Leonard Bernstein, to name a few.

The tour will include the Royal Room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, FL (February 1-5), the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, FL (February 13-15), Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookefiled, WI (March 16), Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center in Fond du Lac, WI (May 18), and a fundraising event in Appleton, WI (March 19).  April and May will have the brothers performing at private events throughout the tri-state area, with a performance at a Gala Event in Cape Cod, MA on May 27.  Their tour continues in Wayne, NJ (July 7), Feinstein’s at Loews Regency (July 19-23), and Mashpee Night at the Pops in Cape Cod, MA with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra (July 30).  Additional tour dates to be added soon.

Will & Anthony Nunziata have traveled the country with their acclaimed duo concert for the past two years.  Their vocal versatility and stage presence have caught the eye of concert halls, theaters and private events around the country, performing Broadway tunes, the American Songbook, songs from the Italian songbook, and contemporary music. Having recently performed during the 2010 Columbus Day Parade on NBC-TV, Will & Anthony have headlined as Guest Artists with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Colorado Pops Orchestra, and with the Cape Cod Pops Orchestra to an outdoor audience of more than 20,000.  The brothers also headlined a week-long engagement at New York City’s premiere nightclub, Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, to packed houses in April 2010.  Also in the spring of 2010, the brothers performed at Avery Fisher Hall as part of “Sondheim: The Birthday Concert” celebrating the 80th Birthday of Stephen Sondheim. 

Will & Anthony were born in Staten Island and raised in Brooklyn and Pelham Manor, NY.  They reside in New York City.  Like their mom and Peachy Deegan, they are fabulously awesome graduates of the best college on earth, Boston College!  Go Eagles!
