ALMS WEEK IN REVIEW: JUNE 4

AUTOCON LMP1 RETURNS!

Long-standing privateer team Autocon Motorsports will return to the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón beginning with the Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport, July 21 - 24. The No. 12 Autocon Lola B06/10-AER returns thanks to support from NameSilo, which is offering fans a chance to put their name on the side of the orange prototype by entering the promotional code "ALMS" when registering or transferring a website domain name.


FORMER ALMS CHAMPION RON FELLOWS PART OF NEW MOSPORT OWNERSHIP GROUP

Panoz Motor Sports Group announced on Wednesday the return of Mosport International Raceway to its Canadian roots with its sale to Canadian Motorsport Ventures, Ltd. Comprising that group are transportation industry leader, Al Boughton; famed Canadian racer Ron Fellows; and real-estate developer Carlo Fidani. The new owners intend to build upon Mosport's storied history and respected reputation to create new and exciting opportunities for race fans, corporate partners and racers on an international scale.

Following the announcement, Panoz Motor Sports Group founder Don Panoz took some time to reflect on his 12-plus years of Mosport ownership.


FLYING LIZARD MOTORSPORTS REVEALS LE MANS LIVERY

Flying Lizard Motorsports has unveiled its unique 24 Hours of Le Mans paint scheme created by California-based artist Troy Lee.  The stunning livery of the No. 80 and No. 81 Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs celebrates the history of Porsche at Le Mans, featuring the 28 drivers who have won the race overall in a Porsche.
