Peachy at The Met: Sunday at The Met Gallery Talk with Aimee Mullins and Harold Koda for Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

You know we absolutely cannot stop talking about the McQueen exhibit.  Peachy Deegan just loves it.  So much so in fact, she went to the Sunday at The Met discussion yesterday even though it was a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.  Because after you've seen the exhibit as many times as Peachy has and reviewed the book by Yale University Press, you need more McQueen!  Aimee Mullins was highly eloquent and insightful and Harold Koda prompted her along beautifully.  They brought new insight into fashion functionality in terms of medical devices and their poor fashion limitations which Aimee is clearly surpassing, and this was partly started with her work with McQueen.  We hope to speak to Aimee more in the future!  And, we would highly encourage you to go to Exhibition Programs at The Met!
