The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, andJoseph A. Aquino, Executive Vice President of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group has arranged the first Upper East Side location for UNIQLO, an international casual wear label and Japan's most successful fashion design, manufacturing and retailing company, at 1142 Third Avenue, between 66th and 67th Streets. The 2,000-square-foot store is part of an expansion that includes four state-of-the-art pop-up UNIQLO Brand shops in Manhattan, in addition to two new flagships at 666 Fifth Avenue, at 53rd Street, and another in Herald Square at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue. The original New York flagship is in Soho at 546 Broadway.

"It is exciting to be an integral part of an important fashion roll-out," said Ms. Consolo. "Over and again, we have seen how a short-termstrategy such as this helps secure a long-term tenant. We are especially proud to have orchestrated the move to the Upper East Side, where shoppers live for fashion."

Opening in an area known as a bastion of high fashion, UNIQLO will be situated directly next to Caché, a national clothing chain with a lease arranged exclusively by Ms. Consolo and Mr. Aquino. Other stores in the immediate area that were also represented by the renowned retail team include Canyon Beachwear, Bare Escentuals andThierry Rabotin.

Added Mr. Aquino, "Our work has made a significant impact on the retail landscape of the Upper East Side, because we understand what types of stores do well here. In addition, we have a great deal of experience with youth-oriented and casual fashion brands, which is why we felt so strongly about UNIQLO at this location."

Ms. Consolo and Mr. Aquino represented the landlord on the transaction; the tenant was represented by Lansco.
