New Hair Balm Hits Tri-State Salon Market Debut of hair product with story of inspiration and unique ingredients blasting away severe hair damage Mikki More Recommended by the Beautiful People of Whom You Know

Shower time is a sacred time for me. It not only is time to get squeaky clean, but also gives me time to wake up in the morning! I am someone that needs to ensure that the shampoo and conditioner I use is the absolute best for my hair type. My hair is color-treated and very fine. It can use all the volume and body that it could possibly get! Mikki More's shampoo and leave-in conditioner has been exactly what I've always wanted! The shampoo has been great for adding volume and strength to my hair! It has a great scent of coconut to it too! It lathers up really well with only a dime-size amount of product. Mikki More's shampoo and leave-in conditioner leave my hair looking so healthy, smooth and shiny! I love using these products during my beloved morning showers!

I have never been loyal to one shampoo brand over the years. With so many brands out there, it has been fun testing and trying out different ones. I gravitate towards great scents and cool packaging. So my latest trial is the Volumizing Shampoo from Mikki More. Which also has a partner The Balm Leave-in Conditioner. The sleek short bottles have a cool gold swirl design at the bottom of a chocolate brown casing. The smell is sensational with hints of coconut and cherry. The shampoo cleaned my hair beautifully ridding it of impurities and dirt. It left my hair super shiny and sleek. The leave-in conditioner made it incredibly smooth and soft to the touch…My husband kept running his finger through my hair. My hair felt as amazing as it does when you leave a salon, which is so hard to replicate.

What is unique about Mikki More Balm Leave-in Conditioner its chemical composition allows the moisture to penetrate the cortex and plasticize the hair. The result is magical. Your hair is shinier. Frizz is reduced. Your hair is protected against heat and friction. It is easier to style. It is moreover moisturized, softer. There are no more tangles. It is vibrant. All the more so when used with Mikki More Volumizing Shampoo which strengthens your hair while helping to add body. The shampoo contains Hannatannic Acid. When Henna is mixed with Hot or Warm water this will coat the hair and seal in the oils and tighten the hair cuticle. This in turn gives the hair a rich healthy shine. The shampoo also contains Golden Seal Root Extract, which moisturizes the scalp and Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, which soothes the scalp, and is very calming and healing.
Used together your hair will be shiny and moisturized and your scalp will be soothed and calm. Quite a combination!

I found my hair a true love...and its name is Mikki More! Wow, what fantastic products! Created by Italian-born celebrity stylist Mikki More, the volumizing shampoo and leave-in-conditioner balm had me singing their praises from the very first time I used them. First of all, as soon as I cracked open the bottle of shampoo, a warm, coconutty scent wafted out and made me feel like I was in some kind of island paradise instead of hectic NYC! The shampoo lathered nicely, and felt luxurious as I massaged it into my hair and scalp. I was pleased to learn that, in addition to smelling and feeling great, the shampoo is also extremely nourishing for your hair. With ingredients like panthenol, henna, golden seal, matricaria, calendula, wild cherry bark extract, and hops, it works to strengthen the hair, coat & seal the hair to give it shine, moisturize, re-energize, and soothe the scalp, get rid of buildup, and add body. After the shampoo, I applied the leave-in-conditioner balm, and was amazed at what a terrific job it did of keeping my long, thick hair touchably soft, yet frizz-free all day! Normally, after conditioning, I have to apply anti-frizz gel and a shine serum, but this balm took care of all of that in one fell swoop! And, even better, it left that intoxicatingly delicious coconut scent in my hair all day - which, in turn, kept a smile on my face all day! What more can I say? I love, love, LOVE these products!

Because I am always doing something different to my hair with the color, I am always looking for new hair products to try to help keep it looking great. I am so glad I found the Mikki More line. The shampoo did such an awesome job at volumizing. My hair is very fine, and after I was done styling my hair, you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at it. The leave in conditioner has to be my favorite of the two products. Normally I don't like using leave in conditioners because they weigh my hair down. This one left my hair feeling moisturized and not heavy in the least bit. When using these two products together, my hair looked and felt healthier than it had in a long time. The more I used the shampoo and conditioner, the more I loved how my hair looked. I highly recommend this product!

The Balm From Mikki More, the first hair shampoo and conditioner of its kind developed to restore elasticity and repair the hair shaft from the inside out, is launching launch nationwide at a variety of high-end salons throughout the tri-state area, including leading beauty shop Ricky’s, and is also available on mikkimore.com. The Balm was developed by Darian Braun, a New York area beauty industry veteran of more than 15 years who has brought the product to market thanks to inspiration from Italian Celebrity Stylist Mikki More, who used the same treatment to overcome struggles with her own hair it endured severe damage from an illness she contracted in Africa. The Balm is a patented blend containing Tahitian Coconut Oil that allows for direct penetration to the hair shaft. The product’s unique ingredients and blend make it ideal for every kind of hair.

Ms. More’s story of triumph in her battle against a devastating bacterial infection contracted in Africa caught Mr. Braun’s attention. Upon learning of Ms. More’s story and the deaths of her two traveling companions from the same illness, he knew that Ms. More’s hair and appearance were important to her and made restoring her hair his mission. After three years of trying many combinations of ingredients he found what he believed to be the answer. Mr. Braun flew to Italy to meet Ms. More and apply the new treatment to her hair. Using a regimen created for her, he nursed Ms. More’s severely damaged hair back to health. Mr. Braun was so inspired by Ms. More that he decided to name the company after her, of which she also serves as company partner and as the image for the entire product line. Fittingly named The Balm From Mikki More, this new hair product line is available in a rapidly growing number of salons across the New York Metropolitan and online.

“A few short months after getting to know Mikki, I informed her that because she was so inspiring we named the company after her. We also wanted her image and her beautiful hair to be the image of the company. There is nobody better to bring The Balm and its message to the marketplace,” said Mr. Braun, creator of The Balm.

With her cultural commitment to sensuality and beauty, Italian-born celebrity stylist Mikki More has responded to the age-old cry to bring back the luster, shine and manageability lost through years of color treatments and environmental hair abuse. The Balm smoothes out frizzy hair and brings back a natural texture to color-treated hair. Continuous use also protects against the elements and leaves you red carpet- or romantic interlude- ready in an instant.

Unlike other treatments before that only coat the cuticle, The Balm revitalizes hair’s natural body and curl and replenishes the essential proteins that restore color-treated, sun-damaged, frizzy hair to its youthful quality. The Balm is “color-blind” and is able to effectively treat multiethnic hair because of its ability to go straight to the source, not only the surface.

Mikki More products and more information can be found at www.mikkimore.com. The Balm is currently available for purchase online or at Ricky’s beauty shops, and many other high-end professional hair salons throughout the New York metropolitan area. Its suggested retail price is $22.00/8 fl. oz.
