Where Does Peachy Go Before a Gala? The Cutler Salon of Course! Cutler is the Best in Manhattan!

Gaby, Peachy and David

Where does Peachy Deegan go before a Gala?

If you can read backwards above and you have read us before, you KNOW there is only one place to go before a Gala and it's The Cutler Salon by Mover and Shaker Rodney Cutler!  Rodney has been featured numerous times and we even celebrated our 1,000th post in Fashion Alert with the outstanding work he did behind the scenes during Fashion Week that Peachy attended backstage with The Cutler Team:
Stay tuned for Rodney's interview on this which is upcoming!
Not only are they the best at getting your hair right, but also Rodney and his team are exemplary at noticing details and getting everything right, and educating the entire team so that everyone excels everyday.  We also love that they work with Redken, as Rodney is a Redken Ambassador:
You know we also love Lenovo and we are working with them on a tablet review, so Peachy tried hers out at Cutler:
More to come on this fantastic tablet!  You should know Cutler has the internet, so if you are connected at the hip like Peachy....
One thing that ALWAYS happens at Cutler and does not always happen at other salons is that there is a clearcut consultation before anything starts with the colorist and the stylist with you.  You know Peachy always works with Gaby and Kelsy, however this day Kelsy was not available so we tried someone new to us but not at all new at Cutler-in fact, we understand that he worked with Rodney back in the Bumble and Bumble days-David Kastin.  As we are going from summer to fall, Peachy wants to be ever-so-slightly less blond than she is during the summer.  Gaby Bowen, whom we've worked with for a long time now, excels in color and we always want to work with her.  Gaby says: "I don't necessarily believe in changing the hair from light to dark just because it's winter or summer.  I always think someone looks ideally better with certain tones that should not be dramatically deviated from."  Of course, Gaby knows to cover the offending silvers and add subtle highlights, but now the change was the highlights were a darker blonde.
Pamella Gonzalez did the shampoo, shot treatment which adds moisture and protein back into your hair after the chemical process, then the shot phix which helps to restore the hair back to its natural pH and closes the cuticle, and finally, the glaze which adds shine to the hair and to tone the color of the highlights - Redken Shades EQ 9NB (neutral brown), and was lovely to work with.

Then it was time for David Kastin and the cut and blow-out!  A trim was in order.  The ends were cleaned up, taking an inch off the length.  He cleaned up the layers, and reshaped the angle around Peachy's face and polished it off with a blow-out.  David is a 15-year veteran of The Cutler Salon since they opened and did a fantastic job and we were pleased to work with him for the first time!  David has known Rodney for over 20 years.  David's career began in 1984 by accident after a night out at a club and his date wanted her to cut his hair-and it turned out great - one thing led to another and he was in beauty school.   In tandem with Gaby's talent, the results were top-notch:

And, Cutler has got one more vote of confidence.  Peachy ran into someone that she used to work for getting her hair done at Cutler at this visit, and we know she absolutely has discriminating taste since Peachy used to report to her!  It should be quite clear:
