Our parent company is a 4th generation family business based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
Although our growth has occurred globally, we still design, fit, source, cut and sew in the USA. For 75
years we have been striving to create the highest quality, best fitting swimsuits in the world. With the

OUR BEACH CLEANUPS
ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN does not just talk the talk, we walk the walk, and that’s why we regularly
get our hands dirty by conducting beach and waterways cleanups in areas of need. Cleanups help the
environment and give participants a better understanding of the problems associated with water and
ocean pollution. Our cleanups also help to close the loop in our product lifecycle by showing what happens
to trash that ends up in our landfills and oceans.
• To date AQUA GREEN and our cleanup partners have collected over 50,000 pounds of trash.
• We plan 13 cleanups in 2013. We will be spreading the beach cleanups nationwide and cohosting them with our retail partners to achieve higher volunteer involvement resulting in even
larger areas of our precious shorelines returned to natural health without trash.
DRIVING INNOVATIONS
MANUFACTURING: Made in the USA which reduces the use of fossil fuel up to 96.9%. We strive to source
locally as our first option. Sourcing locally will not only have a positive impact, but it is socially responsible.
We are also working tirelessly to parallel our recycling initiatives in Asia to Provide more sustainable swimsuits
globally.
LOCAL SOURCING: We strive to source locally as our first option. This will have a positive economic impact

products as possible.
TAGS: We save trees with our hang tags. Each one is made from recycled materials and is FSC certified.
LABELS: Our woven labels are made from recycled polyester.
LININGS: Our lining is made from recycled fabric derived from post consumer waste, such as recycled water
bottles and plastic bags, but you would certainly never know by the feel of it.
ELASTICS: Many of the elastics use recycled components and we are working to have all elastics made this
way. Our main supplier is also a more sustainable alternative because they are located less than 30 miles from
our factory and they actively participate in a progressive recycling program. They have developed a new
elastic that is not only 50% recycled but it feels and stretches better than the non recycled alternative. Our
raw rubber uses Dry Natural Rubber (DNR) which is sustainable and less allergenic than alternative rubber.
FABRICS: Our fabrics are made from recycled nylon, polyester and cotton. We are working hand-in-hand
with recyclers (our suppliers’ suppliers) to pioneer over a dozen new initiatives and we plan to be the first to
bring these new technologies to market. We developed the first recycled warp knit and circular knit fabrics
in the swim industry that will be introduced in our 2013 Cruise Collection. We are also introducing recycled
fabrics from renewable sources such as coffee grinds and corn.
TEXTILE PRINTING: We are breaking ground on processes that use less water while proving, yet again, that
sustainable methods can produce a finished product of equal or higher quality.
TEXTILE DYING: Our main dye house is the newest swimsuit fabric dye-house in North America and operates
using state of the art machinery resulting in less energy consumption than old fashioned dying machines.
They also ascribe to the strict Oeko- Tex standards which ensures the dyes are safe by limiting the use of
harmful substances.
PACKAGING: Our plastic bags are 100% recyclable while our hangers are made from recycled materials. These
recycled black hangers are in sync with our initiatives and have now been set as the new industry standard.
TRIMS: We’re well on our way to reaching our goal of having all trim components either be made from
recycled materials or be recyclable. We can check the following items off of our list: all zippers are made from
recycled materials, grommets and snaps are recyclable and drawstrings are organic cotton.
BRA CUPS: We have eliminated the petroleum oil based foams of the polluted past and introduced bra
cups made from Eco Cell foam, a biodegradable material made from plant oils and recycled materials. This
reduces global warming, carbon dioxide emission, and total energy demand.
GLOBAL REACH: AQUA GREEN embraces innovation and technology while spreading our vision to “reduce
our carbon footprint in the sand” around the globe. Sometimes we must reach beyond our country’s borders
as part of a very intricate and complicated global economy. When we do so we make sure our partnering
