Tre Olive Early Harvest Press Extra Virgin Olive Oil Highly Recommended by Whom You Know! Made in Italy!

We have heard time and time again about the potential health benefits of using olive oil instead of other oils in our cooking. Now everyone is buzzing about a new study that shows a Mediterranean diet actually reduces the chance of getting a heart attack by 30 percent! The amount of antioxidants is higher, the fruit of the olive is green, with more chlorophyll, so the oft-documented side benefits are more potent. It homogenizes beautifully in a vinaigrette, and is beautiful for dipping a crusty bread. I used it to make some bruschetta, and it lends a delightful taste and aroma to the mix. For those interested, the recipe includes garlic, tomato, red wine vinegar, vanilla, basil, and olive oil. The hint of vanilla brings out the taste of the olive oil, adding to it's smoothness. If you're doing a sauté of the garlic, to release its magic, you'll notice that the perfume -filled air in your kitchen takes you to the hills of Calabria, where this olive oil is grown and pressed. 500 ML of Italian, and it's all yours!
Lately, I've been cooking a lot more with extra virgin olive oil. I was getting dangerously low on mine when the Early Harvest Press Extra Virgin Olive Oil made its debut in my life. I used it in a sausage, onion, and potato dish I made. It has never tasted so good. I couldn't believe the flavor it had. It was a little sharper than most, but I liked that about this olive oil. I had plenty left over and brought some in for the secretary at school, and she raved about it and wanted to know what I had used to flavor it. I can't wait to try this extra virgin olive oil with different recipes. I know I'll be using more of this and plan to purchase more. I highly recommend it!

Our family has been growing olives and making Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the Calabria region of southern Italy for generations.

In 1934, we opened our first olive mill, and local farmers have entrusted us with their harvests ever since.
