NHL Peachy Takes a Trip to Boston and Whom You Know is Thrilled to Kick Off Official Coverage of The Boston Bruins!

Who would have ever thought the little girl to the right that was so pro-Hartford Whaler in the battle of New England she bled green would one day be thrilled to cover the Bruins!  Today, she bleeds green because she's Irish, just like many Bostonians we know and especially the ones we read about in the late Thomas O'Connor's book, The Boston Irish (read in history class at BC-he was our professor.).  We have lots of Bruins memories and could not narrow it down-they are very rough and tumble from mentioned rivalry and include Rick Middleton, Mike Milbury, Pete Peters and the list goes on.  On her birthday some years Peachy went to see the Hartford/Boston game in Boston at the old Boston Garden and went out to Durgin Park and shopping in Quincy market before the game.  It was wonderful and she liked it because later her college years were spent 6 miles west of Boston in Chestnut Hill.  In Chemistry in Society class, she had to do a project on water and of course she chose the water from the Fleet Center to test (that is what it was called at the time)-not only did she do the chemical tests but also on a dare, Peachy drank it-you can verify this with her friend Caroline who tested water from the New England Aquarium.  Earlier today we announced official coverage of the MFA and we'll be reviewing a top Boston Hotel which hosted events for Peachy's BC class in college which we loved.

Thank you Erika and Nicole and do watch the stellar videos of Tuukka while you await our exciting new coverage:
