We know you can't buy love but you can buy this amazing compilation of the Beatles Recording Sessions for your favorite Beatles fan for Christmas, or whatever you celebrate!  An impressive record of this history began in the 1980's when John Barrett, one of the balance engineers, became ill.  He listened to every recording, logging relevant details that formed the basis for this work, which is the story of the Beatles recording career.  The book is rightly dedicated to John.

Don't miss the Paul McCartney interview that kicks it all off!  It's extremely extensive, and Paul has an incredible memory.  We wonder what the date of the interview was.  The photography contained in this book is truly priceless and any Beatles enthusiast will have an immense appreciation for both the visuals and the story behind them.  The only way this book would be any better is if it came with a cd!

You will get a kick out of the legal agreements and the recording contracts themselves!  Early days were included!  Session fees and expenses...this is the entire story!  All these details are interesting from both a fan and a business perspective.   We believe this book would be the closest thing to reading a journal of The Beatles; you feel as if you could have been there as it is so vividly "colored" in throughout though literally it is introduced with Sgt. Pepper, and you'll have a new appreciation for just how much hard work the Beatles themselves put in to succeed.

We were also pleased to see Mick Jagger make an appearance on these pages!  And also we were excited to see EMI as they were just featured here with Rod Stewart's Rarities.

This book is perfection when it comes to orderly, and those that compiled it were super-diligent.  We imagine it must have been largely a pleasure, however, as the content is super-fun!

THE COMPLETE BEATLES RECORDING SESSIONS is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know.
