Tick tock goes the clock.  Rumble rumble goes Peachy's stomach.  What should she eat?  In the dead of winter is there anything better than comfort food?  And when in Rome...to that end, for our green salad option we decided upon the Greek Salad, which was absolutely superb.  Every component was fresh and crunchy and it would be an understatement to say it is a generous portion.  This salad is humongous, and we love large salads because isn't it vegetables that we are supposed to be eating? Sometimes we go to a place that gives us a very delicate salad with lots of strange visitors which are overly creative and leave us wanting a real salad, and Peachy winds up making her own her way when she gets home.  At Tick Tock Diner, with the Greek Salad they do it right.  Lettuce, cucumber, red onions, scallions, olives, peppers, amazing stuffed grape leaves, and feta had one big party where the after party was of course, Peachy's stomach.  Two thumbs up on this salad.
Peachy wasn't going to be a health nut the whole meal of course.  The basket of chicken fingers totally hit the spot, and they were breaded perfectly and the chicken was delicious.  They enjoyed dipping in the terrific honey mustard and we'd order them again too.
We're not sure we've ever considered meatloaf, but let us tell you on a cold, snowy, nasty winter day this classic meatloaf is just what you need complete with a happy cloud of mashed potatoes.  It's another good-sized portion, and we liked the color and nutrition of the vegetables as well.  The mushroom gravy added a nice highlight to the succulent meatloaf, and if you think you don't like meatloaf, well, you have not had it at Tick Tock Diner then.
