Whom You Know is delighted to introduce Peachy's Picks Breakfast Away with The Caucus Room Brasserie at the Westin Georgetown!  It was previously featured in Peachy's Picks:
Of course, this is in Washington DC.
Having a sincere passion for caffeinated beverages was proven to us by the amazing people at The Caucus Room of the Longboard Hospitality Group, and we reveled in their expertly prepared cappuccino.  Finding a place with excellent coffee is absolutely essential to the functioning of Whom You Know at all when we are away from Manhattan and all of Peachy's coffee machines.  The fresh orange juice was equally impressive and just what we needed to wake up.  The Caucus Room is open for breakfast Monday to Friday 6:30am to 11am and from 7am to 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday.  The setting is calming and serene, and we heard classy French music played in the background at the ideal volume level.  If you are in Washington, this is absolutely where you need to eat breakfast.

We understand the menu is consistent year-round for breakfast, and we thought the Benedicts were the most convincing part of the menu.  In this section, we opted for the Eggs Norway: poached eggs, Norwegian Smoked Salmon, Hollandaise and Home Fries.  The eggs were done just right and the sauce was delicious.  And, if you know Peachy, she absolutely adores English muffins and eats a lot of them.  (Thomas's)  There have been many days we've woken up since we ate this and wished we lived at the Westin Georgetown so we could just go downstairs...in New York, Peachy often tries to be somewhat healthy at breakfast because you can see what will transpire at dinner.
 They are smiling at you!
You remember in Peachy's Picks how we loved the bacon at The Caucus Room...Applewood Smoked Bacon was sizzling and fantastic for breakfast as well, offered as a side.  If you are vegan or vegetarian you are really missing out on one of the finer things in life!

Finally, we tried the small fruit plate, arranged beautifully.  The berries and melon were the perfect finish on our palate and we absolutely loved this breakfast!
