Fresh Origins October 2014: What's New On the Farm! Introducing Micro Bitter Sorrel and Hibiscus Leaf™ - They Enhance Your Fall Dishes Perfectly!

Micro Bitter Sorrel, King Crab, Gala Apple & Lemon Oil. Chef Shola Olunloyo.
What's New on the Farm: Micro Bitter Sorrel

This is a completely new taste in Sorrel! Micro Bitter Sorrel has a pleasing, clean, nutty bitterness that pairs well with a wide variety of dishes. This versatile new Microgreen can add to the balance of flavors in your dish, complimenting both sweet or savory. The delicate leaves will add an element of freshness and taste unlike any other Microgreen.

Hibiscus Leaf™
Our Hibiscus Leaf™ is stunning, with colors of pink, red and maroon. Almost like eating sour candy, the flavor of the Hibiscus Leaf™ is tangy with a succulent, juicy texture. It's a wonderful garnish for seafood, superb for adding tartness to salads and sandwiches, or terrific as a float on your favorite fall cocktail!   It creates a beautiful bed for veggies, fruit salad, and cheese plates.
