THE LONDON BOOK FAIR 2015 SAVE THE DATE: Tuesday 14 – Thursday 16 April 2015 NEW VENUE: OLYMPIA – Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UX

The London Book Fair is back for its 43rd year next April, and is delighted to be in its new home – West London’s premier exhibition space, Olympia. Located only 10 minutes down the road from the show’s old home at Earls Court, LBF is pleased that exhibitors and attendees will be in a part of town with which they are familiar.

The Fair will be opening its doors to industry leaders, top UK and international authors, digital innovators and aligned creative industries representatives and will be kicking off with the annual Publishing for Digital Minds Conference on Monday 13 April.

Some of the highlights for 2015 include:

*Stellar digital, children’s and consumer authors for the Author of the Day Programme – names to be announced shortly

*A celebration of Mexico as the Market Focus country for 2015

*Enhanced offerings for aspiring authors in Author HQ, following the huge success of 2014

*Plus dedicated Literary Translation; Gaming; Film and TV; Children’s & YA, and Academic & Education areas.


LONDON BOOK & SCREEN WEEK
13 – 19 April 2015

For 2015, The London Book Fair will be expanding across the entire capital for an entire week, with an exciting consumer initiative, London Book & Screen Week (LBSW), bringing the Fair to more people than ever before.

LBSW will be a week-long celebration of all things literary and film, and will see hundreds of exclusive events - from talks and seminars, to screenings and masterclasses - taking place across the capital uniting readers, writers, gamers and film fans. The events will help to cement London as the heart of the entertainment world, and will feature some of the top stars of both book and screen.

Partners already on board include English PEN, Foyles, The Booksellers Association and BAFTA, with more to follow.


THE LONDON BOOK FAIR INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2015
*SUBMISSIONS CLOSE 15 JANUARY*

The LBF International Excellence Awards sees the UK publishing industry celebrating the successes and achievements of their foreign colleagues.

After a hugely successful launch in 2014, with winners from as far afield as Malaysia (Fixi), Denmark (Anneli Hoier), Australia (Penguin) and the US (Skybound), the awards are back for their second year.

Entries for the LBF International Excellence Awards need to be registered online via the LBF website by 15 January 2015, and will be decided by an authority of UK judges who work at the heart of each category. Winners will be announced at an invitation-only ceremony onTuesday 14 April.
