Whom You Know is honored to continue to work with The Recording Academy, and this is the second consecutive year we've reviewed the Grammy album.  Thank you to The Recording Academy and Republic Records.
2015:

We've been thinking out loud of what we're going to say, and were happily interrupted by a tweet showing us how Ed Sheeran recorded Thinking Out Loud in gaelic which definitely makes it our favorite song on the album.

We're thrilled to see repeat artists from last year Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and Meghan Trainor!  Clearly this is the mark of excellence to earn this recognition.  We are not about one-hit-wonders in any discipline and are most impressed by this group.

This album gets off to an upbeat start with Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars, and if this doesn't make you get up and start dancing, nothing will.  The quicker songs on this album were the most successful to us, and we first heard this song from the current students at Boston College.  If it's saturday night and you're in the mods, you better have this album playing right now!

The second most stellar song on the album is the uber-catchy Blank Space by Taylor Swift who has demonstrated her genius time and time again.  Though we don't personally know her, we believe that Manhattan is now her home city so two thumbs up for that too, Taylor.  The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face is the kind of song that really grows on you we believe; of course everyone is going to have certain favorites on this album but as you listen to it more and more some that you may not have loved in the first place you'll find in your head on repeat happily.

Solid entries we thought were commendable included Maroon 5's Sugar,  Little Big Town's Girl Crush and Carrie Underwood's Little Toy Guns.
Courtney Barnett was new to us and her Pedestrian at Best is genius and perfectly creative in its rock genre and we look forward to hearing more from her.  Hold Back the River by James Bay reminded us a bit of Hozier.
Ship to Wreck by Florence and the Machine has a beautiful ethereal quality (similar to Sia's Chandelier last year) while Cam's Burning House boasted remarkable clarity.  Less is more!

Thinking Out Loud deserves Record of the Year and Song of the Year.  Meghan Trainor deserves Best New Artist.  It is obvious why you need this album-the best in the business compiled it!  Every song on this album is here for a reason and it celebrates diversity in the music business without compromising excellence.

The 2016 GRAMMY® Nominees album has earned Whom You Know's Highest Recommendation.
