Past GRAMMY nominees Aloe Blacc and Heart, andDJ Michelle Pesce are scheduled to perform at the exclusive 2016 GRAMMY Celebration® — The Recording Academy®'s official after-party. Additionally, the Celebration's Jazz Lounge will feature performances by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Arturo O'Farrill and members of the GRAMMY Camp® — Jazz Session. After-Party guests will experience "GRAMMY Land," an ultra-sensory, confection-infused utopia, which will awaken the imaginative spirit and inner child of all who attend. One of the year's most anticipated events, attracting GRAMMY winners, nominees and celebrities, the 2016 GRAMMY Celebration will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday, Feb. 15 immediately following the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards.®

"What better way to celebrate Music's Biggest Night than with an amazing GRAMMY after-party where our guests can continue to enjoy their evening surrounded by music, incredible food and a visually stunning party atmosphere culminating in not-to-be missed performances," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. "This year's youthful GRAMMY Land theme is sure to provide a uniquely memorable experience for all."

"With more than 600 catering and service staff, 400 production team members, 200 security agents, 60 dancers and acrobats, four featured performances, and hundreds of hours of planning, it is a daunting yet rewarding task to mount the largest and most complex awards show after-party annually," said Branden Chapman, Executive In Charge Of Production & Chief Business Development Officer of The Recording Academy. "Each year, we are honored to bring our Recording Academy members and annual GRAMMY nominees together to celebrate the year in music with one last event that highlights amazing performances, delectable cuisine and vibrant thematic design."

The Recording Academy will produce the post-telecast GRAMMY Celebration, overseeing all of the event entertainment, decor and other logistics needed to fill the vast convention space, which equals the size of three football fields. The playful "GRAMMY Land" theme will come to life with oversized candy displays, a dazzling water feature, larger-than-life design elements, all matched with entertainers, dancers, acrobats, aerialists, and elaborate visual projections.

For the first time, Patina Restaurant Group and Chef and Founder Joachim Splichal will cater the event with an exquisite menu that is divided into five iconic California dining destinations, giving guests the opportunity to indulge in the best of what the Golden State has to offer, including taco truck bites, Napa-inspired cuisine, Santa Monica Farmers’ Market seasonal favorites, gluten-free dishes from Beverly Hills, and desserts from Hollywood including whimsical cotton candy trees.

Splichal is elated that Patina Catering has been selected to showcase its culinary offerings at the GRAMMY Celebration for the first time, as his team is now responsible for two of the three largest award show celebrations in Los Angeles. Sharing his goals for the celebration, he comments, “I aim to create a menu that is sophisticated, hits every note and celebrates the achievements of the artists.”

The menu was designed using sustainable, local California ingredients with flavors inspired by the music and the artists who create it. Leftover edible food from the GRAMMY Celebration is donated to local food banks and all cooking oil used for the event will be recycled.

MasterCard Worldwide is proud to sponsor a priceless musical experience with artists set to perform on the MasterCard stage.

Official partner Hyundai will also be featuring one of its award-winning vehicles in an interactive display. The evening will also feature fine spirits by Cîroc Ultra-Premium Vodka, Johnny Walker Black Label and Don Julio Tequila.

Guests will also feast on McDonald’s All Day Breakfast all night long from the custom 57-foot McDonald’s McRig™ parked inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. Partygoers can experience what it means to have a Good Morning with All Day Breakfast at night in the interactive photo booth.
