The MusiCares Foundation®—one of the affiliated charities of The Recording Academy®—announced new elected leadership and Board members.

The MusiCares® Board elected former Vice Chair Alexandra Patsavas, founder of Chop Shop Music Supervision, as Chair; Board member Michael McDonald, founder and CEO of artist management company Mick Management, as Vice Chair; and Board memberStasia Washington, managing director of First Foundation Advisors, asSecretary/Treasurer. MusiCares' departing Chair Bill Silva, president of Bill Silva Entertainment, has been named Chair Emeritus. Former Board member, Chair, and Chair Emeritus John Branca, partner and head of the music department at Ziffren Brittenham LLP, has been announced as the Honorary Chair. 

Newly elected MusiCares Foundation® Board members include Jeffrey Harleston, general counsel and executive vice president of business and legal affairs for Universal Music Group; Tamara Hrivnak, director of music partnerships for YouTube and Google Play; Rob Light, partner and managing director/head of music of Creative Artists Agency; and Andie B. Simon, president of Andie B. Simon Inc.
