Champagne Wishes: Not long to go to #VinitalyUSA - San Francisco!

Vinitaly international is now ready to set off on a three month tour of the USA in the name of Italian wine.

First stop: San Francisco where the Ambassador of Italian wine will take part, for the second year, in Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS) in San Francisco (January 22-24) as the co-protagonist of a project supported by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) and organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). The aim of this ongoing project is to develop the Italian agro-industrial sector in the United Stated through the involvement of three major Italian trade fairs: Fiere di Parma, Fiera di Milano and Veronafiere.
Alto Adige Wines

Throughout the event there will be a Vinitaly International Wine Bar, where members of trade and press will enjoy some of Alto Adige - Sudtirol’s best white and red wines. Around twenty different grape varieties grow in Alto Adige, on just an area of 5,300 hectares, providing an average annual yield of around 350,000 hectolitres (3.9 million cases) of wine”. This small province is capable of creating some of Italy's most unique Pinot Neros and dry Gewustraminers.

#VinitalyUSA will move on soon after to New York (February 5-6), Miami (February 8) and Houston (March 6)
