Owner and Executive Chef Charlie Marshall with the Peach Cobbler!
It's not who you know, it's WHOM YOU KNOW and Charlie Marshall knows that.
You should know you want a permanent date with the Wood Oven French Loaf he makes the minute you walk in the door, baked daily and served with freshly homemade butter!  It is going to be the best part of your day.  Note you need to order bread...it does not automatically arrive.
Don't count carbs and enjoy your life.
The Marshal was last featured last winter:
and it has been a Peachy's Pick Since 2014:

The next summer hit not to be ignored is the Farmers Market Gazpacho!  Cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, cilantro, and parsley are combined in premium chunky consistency and this cold wonder hits the spot on a hot day.  The creme fraiche is just like a "cherry on the top" but actually it is better because it is cream!

Check out the super fresh locally sourced ingredients of the Roasted Portobello Mushroom Salad!  Baby arugula, micro mix, and polenta croutons entice you to revel in simplicity.  This usually is with goat cheese but Peachy is personally not a goat cheese person, so they left it out for us.
We enjoyed those mushrooms in their salad party, but what we love the most is the Three Kale Salad which has our name ALL OVER IT.  If you think you don't love salads, you clearly have not had this one!  It is salad ecstasy.  EVEN the salad dressing is pure bliss and it is one of the only salad dressings we eat at all: garlic aioli.  The watermelon radishes party in the curly, tuscan and redbor kale to make your summer superlative!
Obviously Charlie knows what he is doing and he brings you the proper fork to eat the Wood Oven Fired PEI mussels!  This does not happen everywhere.  These are large yet tender and are just thrilling to eat on a hot day and even on a cold day they will make you rejoice in the flavor of summer.  Garlic, cream, shallots, and white wine enhance these beauties and cheesey herbed bread sticks make them even better.

Of course they also give you a lovely silver discard bowl.
Another winner under appetizers are the wonderful pork meatballs!  Charlie's signature "Farm-esean" cheese joins tomato sauce and again those cheesy bread sticks to make the meatiness in cast iron even more delicious.  These will not last long and make others that join you order their own; these are far too delicious to share and they will earn your full attention.
Calling all human bunny rabbits like Peachy!
Farmers Market Sides at The Marshal reign for blocks as the best vegetables you could possibly order in Hell's Kitchen.  From the wild spinach that waltzes in garlic and white wine to the roasted rainbow carrots with crafted carrot top pesto, you will revel in vegetables and actually enjoy being healthy.

Under entrees, a carnivorous occasion of Wood Oven Roasted Meatloaf continues to prove to be one of the few meatloafs we specifically seek out at dinnertime.  Sirloin, chuck and flank steak announce this is no ordinary meatloaf, and when you consider that it is stuffed with mozzarella cheese, summer squash, carrots, kale and onion gravy, you will be bowled over with substantial flavor.

Even better is the Bourbon Planked Arctic Char!  Why is not all fish in the city bourbon planked?  Because not every owner is Charlie Marshall, and that is what defines a great restaurant, the owner and the work they do and the pride they take.  Uber-zesty chermoula sauce proudly perches on top of the poisson, which is done just right, and baby arugula with fresh lemon and hazelnuts brighten it up.
 Peachy and Charlie

You earn extra points for being PEACHY, and The Marshal is extremely peachy with their peach cobbler, a total must.
The Marshal continues to be Highly Recommended by Whom You Know.
