#MovietimeinManhattan @WBPictures @WBHomeEnt #WhomYouKnow #Aquaman #JusticeLeague JOURNEY INTO UNCHARTED WATERS WHEN Aquaman ARRIVES ONTO 4K UHD COMBO PACK, BLU-RAY™ COMBO PACK, DVD SPECIAL EDITION AND DIGITAL FROM WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT AND DC Own it Early on Digital on March 5 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD debut on March 26

All hail the Triton!
Peachy will never hold her fork the same at another dinner review!
Not since Wonder Woman have we been so thrilled by a superhero movie, and we're not saying that just because Peachy is an Aquarius....
We are days away from the home entertainment release of Aquaman by Warner Brothers and if you have yet to see it, it should be high on your list.

The stellar cast, the intriguing story, the absolutely superlative sets and overall presentation culminate in a flawless underwater fantasy that sets just the right tone this time of year as the weather warms up and you too can start to literally start diving in soon.  Opening in 1985 with a beautiful lighthosue, Aquaman is historically accurate for the time and we love that they picked New England as a setting, Maine in particular.   We also totally loved how the New England Aquarium played a role...we once did a water project there in college with one of our favorite people from school.

Of the actors, there was not a weak link and we found Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard particularly phenomenal.  We hadn't thought of either in a superhero role previously, but they completely nail it respectively as the two female leads of Aquaman.   Kidman plays Aquaman's mom and she is in spectacular shape and we love her costume; we first saw her in real life in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina filming Days of Thunder with Tom Cruise. As Mera, Heard has spectacular superpowers in deriving water!  We love how she drives an aquacar, has "diplomatic clearance" and our favorite scene in the movie is hers in a wine bar in Sicily.  Yes, some real life places are employed and the desert scene is a powerful, intelligent contrast.  Jason Mamoa as Aquaman plays a strong, convincing role and has great chemistry with both the women with star power.

The thought process, detail execution and comprehensive world created underwater was a technical victory, especially when you consider how amazingly everyone's hair moves underwater!  The traffic patterns, city scenery and everything James Wan created are highly laudable.  We love how the snowglobe is transformed into a larger scene, and many characteristics paint a glorious picture that is a treat to watch throughout.

The moral of the story, that people can peacefully co-exist when they are from two different worlds, is particularly pertinent in today's world and perhaps the best reason for watching Aquaman.

Aquaman is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!
