Well the East Coast Girls are Hip
People read our posts to see the styles we wear...
But the Chez Peachy column for home
Knocks everyone out because it's one size fits all everywhere!
We go to tons of trade shows to find the very best
And the Gift Fair now turned New York Now
Didn't turn up anything with scores this high to pass our tests.
...we wish they all could be California's Sky of Blue Cards!
Previously on Whom You Know, Sky of Blue Cars has earned three features recently:
We've never seen something so much fun or celebratory as a surfer collection for cards, and the lack of beachfront space in Manhattan is not reflective of how we feel about the seaside.  Time to Hang Ten with your paper and pen!
Both the quality of the cards and the punchy, fun verbiage with the gnarly surfboards take us to a place far from work and all play!
The “Surfer Translation Series” is a cheerful series of everyday occasion greeting cards utilizing illustrated surfboards along with surfer slang such as “bodacious”, “dweeb”, “nectar”, “bogus, “Richter”, and “stoked”. This collection of cards includes two birthday cards, two congratulations cards, one apology card, and one encouragement card. These cards measure 4.25 in. x 5.5 in. and are sold as singles in sleeves. They are letterpress printed on 100% cotton paper in bright and bold inks and come with colorful corresponding envelopes made from recycled paper.
The Surfer Translation Series by Sky of Blue Cards has earned our Highest Recommendation.

All of Sky of Blue Cards’ products are made in the USA. All products are designed by Karla Ebrahimi and printed in-house on their vintage Chandler & Price letterpress in their studio in sunny California. In their corner of the world the sun is always shining and the sky is always blue… and if their cards can pass on just a little bit of that blue sky, their mission is complete.

Karla Ebrahimi is the founder of Sky of Blue Cards. Karla began her graphic design career creating greeting cards and specialty products for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City. She later moved to San Francisco where she worked as a designer for a variety of companies in the software industry. Feeling the need to go out on her own, Karla began freelancing with a small list of clients that grew quickly over the years. She and her husband started their family and relocated just south of San Francisco in Silicon Valley, where they remain today.

Karla’s favorite projects have always been designing announcements and invitations for her clientèle, friends, and family. Creating Sky of Blue Cards and offering her designs to the retail market was a natural move toward the center of what she loves — fine stationery; and thus, Sky of Blue Cards was born.

Karla resides in Menlo Park, California with her husband Drew, their two teenagers Nathalie and Griffin, and their two dogs, Buckley and Marley.
