#ChampagneWishes #KeepingScotlandonTop #ScotlandPeachy @The_Macallan Mover and Shaker Charlie Whitfield Celebrates #WhomYouKnow 's 12th Anniversary with #MacallanDoubleCask #12Year #Macallan Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!

Everybody's working for the weekend and it's time to revisit one of our favorites: Macallan!
What do you think Peachy Deegan drinks when she comes in from the snow?!!
Whom You Know turned 12 years old on January 25, 2021 and we are still celebrating. We first met Charlie back in 2013 when he was in New York and Charlie brilliantly suggested we celebrate with the Macallan 12 year!

Ernest Hemingway says to write about what you know. We know Scotland and in fact someone Peachy is related to lived in St. Andrews for quite awhile and she went there in person. Peachy has been a resident of Cork, Ireland and London, England and she is Irish, Welsh and English as evidenced by 23 and me. She drinks Macallan to become Scottish!
Crafted without compromise from American and European oak sherry seasoned casks, The Macallan Double Cask range tells the story of two worlds uniting. The Macallan Double Cask range was introduced in 2016 to offer consumers a new style of The Macallan. This range celebrates the marriage of the classic style from The Macallan with the unmistakable sweetness of American oak, matured in the perfect balance of hand-picked American and European oak sherry seasoned casks.  We are honored and thrilled to celebrate with Macallan, which we have been drinking prior to the launch of Whom You Know.
We like the American touch with the oak of course as well.
The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old reveals the unrivalled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known since it was established in 1824. The perfect partnership of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks creates the distinctive, warm character of this harmonious single malt.
The delicate and indulgent flavours of American Oak including vanilla, citrus and butterscotch take centre stage while The Macallan’s traditional character of rich fruits, sherry and wood spice provide a familiar backdrop.
Colour: Harvest sun

Nose: Creamy butterscotch with a hint of toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla custard and fresh oak

Palate: Deliciously honeyed, wood spices and balanced with raisins and caramel

Finish: Oak lingers, warm, sweet and drying

ABV: 43%

Available worldwide!
It is smashing standalone straight, which is how we like to drink it.  On the rocks is also quite nice.  We would not recommend mixing it as the quality does not need to be dilulted.

Highly Recommended by Whom You Know, the Macallan Double Cask 12 Year is absolutely deserving of the top of your priority list this weekend.  If Tom Brady drank we bet this is what he'd be drinking too.
