#ChezPeachy @ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan 2022 Concludes

With an enthusiastic response to the show as a whole from exhibitors, editors, manufacturers, academics, buyers, architects and designers, and other members of the design industry, the 2022 edition of ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan has come to a close.

The two fairs hosted 378 exhibitors, including 107 first-time participants, coming from 23 countries to present the latest furniture, materials, lighting, flooring and rugs, kitchen and bath, wallcoverings, and more for commercial, residential, and hospitality environments. The positive energy at the show was felt by all, giving a strong indication of the industry’s resilience and desire to engage and experience design once again.

Content themes included sustainability, original design, and providing out-of-box thinking to pressing global issues including climate change, political unrest, urban planning, and other challenges related to the pandemic and beyond.
Impressive speaker lineup at the ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan Talks including Paola Antonelli, YabuPushelberg, Höweler+Yoon, Inside Norway: Meet the Makers, and the Emerging Designers Showcase.

ICFF Editors Awards honored 12 exhibitors across both shows, including Piscina for Best in Show
Kia Weatherspoon won the Designer of the Year award at the 42nd annual Interiors Awards.
WantedDesign Manhattan's Launch Pad honored Erika Cross for Best of Launch Pad for Furniture and Tianning Zhao for Best of Launch Pad for Lighting; and Look Book hosted the first Look Book Live talks program led by William Hanley from Dwell Magazine.
The new Schools Showcase at WantedDesign Manhattan celebrated students from design schools worldwide and honored the Dust Chair by Bill Caroll from RISD as the Best of Students winner and Re-Actors by the SVA, MFA Products of Design as the Best of Schools winner.
ECO Solidarity, initiated by the Polish Cultural Institute New York in collaboration with WantedDesign, featured the work of 9 design studios from 9 European countries and was the winner of Best Booth at the ICFF Editors Awards.

And lastly, the 2023 dates for ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan are May 21-23.
