#MovietimeInManhattan #SmallScreenScenes SUCCESSION: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY WHOM YOU KNOW

There are few series filming in New York today that are as true to the authentic reality of what the upper crust devours to stay on top as Succession is, and it's no accident that their third series is a smashing success.  This is our first review of this show of any season.

Right from the uber-stylish Aran cable knit sweater of Logan Roy in the opening credits, Succession sets the standard for complexity and if you have never engineered an Aran sweater...trust us on this.  Family dynamics are front and center throughout and the biggest star of the show is Manhattan itself.

Succession is highly addictive so we suggest you clear your schedule totally before starting this treasure.  There is no weak link among the cast members and for everyone that grew up in the age of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Cameron is in this as the oldest brother but now Alan Ruck is sadly not wearing a Detroit Red Wings jersey (Happy Stanley Cup!).  You'll also enjoy seeing Red's lawyer from Blacklist among the cast.

Fellow human piranhas rejoice!  You will find your compatriots here. For the power-hungry, pleasure-driven, clawing-to-the-top characters everywhere, Succession is the ultimate dog-eat-dog plot and the writing is sublime.  Tight, edgy, cutting and hilarious, the verbiage of Succession is reason alone to watch.  It crescendos at the right time for the plotline and the misadventures of Roman Roy's cell photos, the timpany drum, the Kurt Cobain floatie reference and all the priceless banter will leave you in tears, particularly if you know people like this in real life.

Succession is a lesson in creative writing.  Truly.

If you are on debate team or a lawyer, this will teach you arguing points.  Finally, next time they have lunch on the beach, they ought to invite Peachy.  She will actually eat those lobsters...they command her attention!
