Beautiful, delicious Baked Clams Oreganate
Succulent Broiled Salmon
Mussels, Clams and Calamari Fra Diavolo Sing a Song of Summer to Your Palate
Il Cortile has started Restaurant Week!
And we came to get the party started.
Il Cortile picked a superlative variety of the menu for us to share with you and of course you know that's Peachy and Owner Sal Esposito holding the brand new restaurant week menu!  It's shown above.
You'll be graciously greeted upon your arrival.  They are consistently worthy earners of five-star diamond award!
This visit we met Sal Manzo, entertainer and vocalist who added lovely ambiance to the Il Cortile style.
Brilliantly breaded to perfection these six sensational succulent treasures of the seaside wowed us from the start.  Baked Clams Oreganate are a summer essential and a highly recommended appetizer during the fabulous restaurant week celebration.  The seasoning lifts up the flavor without overwhelming it and we surmise this could be a habit-forming dish!  As always the pictures are unedited and it is exactly like this in real life.
The Classic Italian American excellence continued with the Broiled Salmon which was the most enticingly flavored Salmon we have had in ages!  We adored the amazing garlic accent that really brought out the intrinsic natural flavor of the fish and onions and shallots also came to this savory entree.  Escarole proved to be an essential nutritious, elegant companion and the green and salmon color combination was evocative of the summer season!  Think Lilly Pultizer, whom we celebrated our 15,000th post with.
Pictures speak louder than words.
Visually indulge in the Mussels, Clams and Calamari Fra Diavolo in Red Sauce:
This combination of Prince Edward Island Mussels, Clams and Calamari are like the holy trinity of seafood and step it up a notch in Red Sauce and are sauteed with chili, garlic and white wine.  This will enliven your culinary pursuits with its upscale savory talents in perfect proportion.  Even the crostini is dressed to the nines as it effectively dives into every last drop of this succulent sauce with the flavors of the sea.
Don't forget the Dessert: Due Cannoli!  You won't find a better Cannoli anywhere and these are made fresh to order!
Il Cortile continues to Earn Our Highest Recommendation.
Celebrate Summer Restaurant Week at Il Cortile!
